Felix Mas

Felix was born in Barcelona. In 1974 he moved to live in Caracas, Venezuela until 1979. He now lives between the USA and Barcelona. He has exhibited extensively in Spain, the USA and Venezuela, and more recently in Artexpo 2000, Barcelona. He is part of the line of traditional painters whose fascination is with the expressive potential of the body. His models, clearly his ideals of femininity, fully express the tender beauty of woman. Mas presents a portrait of femininity that is rich and captivating. The combination of rich settings and their physical grace is only achieved through a strong understanding between the painter and his model.
